Sharing some shots I took on Thanksgiving at our town's annual Turkey Trot. I brought along a newly-acquired Pentax 60-250.... after my first outings with it a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't entirely sure I was going to keep it. It's heavy... among other things... I tried using it with a monopod, but I found it awkward. I've used it at a few 5k races & for some portraits so far... my initial impression at the races was that focus was off... but that doesn't seem to be the case with stationery subjects... So, I tried to pay closer attention to my technique this last time... maybe I'm getting the hang of it.
