No, the estate in Jersey was never a tobacco farm.  It was a country
estate, a place to relax near the city geographically, but with a
relaxed rural atmosphere.  This barn was stored horses, carriages and
wagons used for travel within the estate and for the workers who
maintained the very extensive and exotic collection of greenhouses,
formal gardens and landscaped vistas that covered the 2,700 acres of
"the farm."
