You're correct, according to Autoweek, the Batmobile for sale is based on
the Ford Futura show car.

But according to the text this is the original George Barris version,
built on a one-of-a-kind Lincoln concept car. While I have my doubts
about whether that was a good idea - destroying a unique concept car
for any reason pains me - I suspect this is as original as you can get,
and will probably go for a pretty large chunk of change.
