If you took a spotmeter reading off of her face and she is a caucasian of
moderate complexion, give her one stop more exposure than what the meter read.
Your grey card reading in the same plane as her face should indicate more
exposure unless her skin is quite dark. Depending on the film, I would add at
least half a stop of exposure. Forget the black coat. It may well fall out of the
range.
