Cooling film in the refrigerator (or, even better, the freezer) slows down the chemical processes that "age" the film. This would help both color and b&w film, and is especially true for many "pro" (i.e., non-consumer) films (which are intended to be kept chilled until used). However, I honestly do not know if this is ~as important~ with b&w film as with color film. > What does bokeh stand for ? I've seen it used in quite a few > emails on the list and can't work out what on earth it means. Bokeh refers to the quality of the out-of-focus areas in a photo - whether they are pleasantly smooth or whether they are distractingly coarse, etc. Fred - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
