I bought one about half a year ago, and used it for video and still
photos of my little daughter.
The hot-shoe mount could have been done a bit better, but it is quite
acceptable.
I am happy with this light.

It takes AA batteries (IIRC, 6 of them), or a li-ion batteries.
If I am not mixing up, I bought this battery:

(check carefully, - that I didn't mix up, as I was considering a few
