I wanted to pass on a great source for large prints. I ordered a 3 foot X 2
foot print of one of my Inside Passage images 5 days ago and received it
from Fed Ex this afternoon.
The print was done by Bay Photo Lab - www.bayphoto.com
I ordered what they call a 'Thinwrap' which is a frameless way to get your
print all ready for hanging.
The print can be done on several choices of paper, which is then
over-laminated with either a glossy or satin laminate and then mounted on
gatorboard. Half inch thick block spacers are then attached to the back to
provide a floating effect.
Their work was superb, from both the print and mount aspect.
I couldn't be happier with the results.
BTW, the image quality of the print is outstanding! An almost full frame
image from a K20D.
