The 81 series filters are warming filters. They are pinkish in colour. The problem with viewing any picture on a computer is that you don't know what sort of post process enhancements it has recieved. The image you pointed to appears to have been shot in open shade (ie: illuminated by sky light, rather than direct sunlight), or more likely, under an overcast sky, as everything appears to be wet. Personally, I find it really garish, but that is subjective opinion. The 81B is used to add some warmth to a scene that otherwise would be somewhat cool due to the colour of the light illuminating it. William Robb - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
