Good show! It calls for an affectionate "You Suck!" (at least they mostly 
seemed affectionate)
But you had me wondering about a gloat for a kit lens. Then I finished your 
post.

It looks to me like its job is as much an autofocus adapter, as a 
teleconverter. Didn't Pentax make a similar item? 

Any tips on how to get one, and which one works better?
