Hi Marnie - I like the subject & composition but feel its too dark overall.
I ran it thru photoshop to see if it was my PC or what.
I got a much more pleasing (to me) & vibrant image by adjusting the white point in levels. The numerous tiny white spots (sky peeking thru I believe) in your image are producing a tiny bit of info at the far RH side - white point - of the histogram, I adjusted the white point significantly to the LH side to the point just shy of affecting the colors, and while the white points were brighter it produced a more attractive image - IMO - YMMV.

Subject: PESO - Redwood Quiet

Not the same group of Redwoods as last time and not as good, but maybe
good enough for the calendar I am putting together for friends. (And I am
pretty sure they are Redwoods.)

Friend and I were sort of lost in Berkeley hills and came across a park
with a grassy area and picnic tables. There was a Redwood grove up on the
edge of the hill, so I almost called this Unexpected Redwoods.

One of the thing I like about Redwoods, it is usually very quiet standing
under them, peaceful and calming.
