It turns out that I don't have a lens reversal ring after all. The best I could do for crazy macro was basically a bunch of extension tubes, plus my vivitar macro 2x teleconverter, and nuking the subject with a big strobe: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/8337122054/in/set-72157632406865715
I was able to get a ruler shot down to about 3mm, but it isn't terribly sharp: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/8337121616/in/set-72157632406865715 I took the setup into my front yard to photograph some lichen that have been catching my interest for the past few days: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/8336072913/ I got quite a few very much like this one of the lichen: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/8336073375/ I then noticed a slug, but didn't get any decent crazy macros of it. I did get some decent macros, some with the tamron 90, some with the tamron 90 on the vivitar macro 2x teleconverter. http://www.flickriver.com/photos/ellarsee/sets/72157632406865715/ -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
