In any event, that's no typo. A typo is a mistyped character.
That is just flat-out stupidity and carelessness that exceeds the bounds of
reason.
Either nobody checks those advertisements for accuracy (carelessness) or
someone does and actually thought it was plausible that a $77,000 camera was
marked down over 99% to a paltry $699 (flat-out stupidity).
It looked to me like someone simply neglected to input the decimal point so
that 776.99 became 77699.
The highlighting looks like it was done on a screenshot after the fact.
That'd be correct. That was my handiwork, just because EasyCapture makes
it easy to do that kind of stuff.
And, as a general rule, I never pass up anything that's easy.
