I think because these cameras cost very little in development and tooling,
while a FF DSLR will involve getting back to manufacture a whole series of
FF lenses and accessories, whose sales are very very uncertain. Once you've
sold the FF bodies to those already owning FF lenses and not buying more of
them, who else?
