I bought the wife a 7" digital picture fram and i have a small 2g SD
card i figured would be perfect to load all of my paw pictures from
the last few years onto it. Problem is, if i try and copy more than a
few pictures it gives me an error message saying so and so file is
damaged and then will not copy over it or any of the otheres i tried.
Slowly but surly i have gotten a few to load but am perplexed as to
what might be going on here. Should i reformat maybe??
it sounds like the card (or less likely the card reader in the iMac) is flakey;
i would try another card; i have once or twice (in tens of thousands of pics)
had a copy error copying from an SD card via my Mac's slot; more often i have
had the card not mount at all, but it seems like a more solid push on
reinsertion takes care of that
