I took the K-5 and K20D out today, with the FA 50/1.4 on the K-5 and the Promaster 70-300 on the other, just in case I needed to take a long shot.

The first was taken with the K20D -- a couple of kids I spotted skipping stones on the Ohio River:

The second with the K-5 -- an old fire engine that was parked in such a way that made me want to strangle whoever put it there. I couldn't get a decent shot of the side of it without a bunch of crap in the way, which was really disappointing:

I wish I'd been closer for the river scene so I could have taken it with the K-5, but I'm still pretty happy with it. I'm still bummed about the placement of the fire engine. It really would've made a nice shot. But, I did what I could with what I had.

Comments, critiques and suggestions as to how to go about killing the owner of the fire truck without getting caught are eagerly encouraged.

Thanks!
