I often have problems with photo.net where the ad server screws up and stops the page from loading. I suspect there's a regional aspect to it as ad providers try to be clever with their targeting, so it'll seem inconsistent among different groups of people. But that's no excuse for photo.net to be so poorly implemented that an ad provided by a third party can stop the site from even functioning.
