Thanks Rob, Don, Marnie, Frank, P.J., Anne, Paul S., Rick, Dan, & Bruce. A
couple of tid-bits:

1) It is a curved window reflection and that is me to the left taking the
photo. I've been trying to get a good shot like this for some time because what
it does to cars makes me giggle every time. The problem has been that the
reflections come out soft and washed out--especially this one because if I
remember correctly the window had a whitish tint to it rather than clear glass.
In the darkroom as it were I popped the blacks and contrast as much as
possible, then did extreme sharpening in Photoshop Elements, but that left the
frame very harsh, so while back in Lightroom I added grain, healed quite a few
specks of dust and such, and also used the graduated filter in the upper right
hand corner to darken. It is an oddly curious--or curiously odd--photo
(whichever you prefer :-)), but this year I want to use my PAW to experiment,
and I want to shoot for prints, primarily printing on Epson's Velvet Fine Art
Paper, and make 4 x 6 prints to post on my study wall for handy review. I've
cleared some wall space and will use wall putty to post.

2) I just printed out PAW weeks 1 & 2 in 4 x 6 and I'm happy with the results,
especially week one. While week one is also a curious/odd frame, the applied
grain looks absolutely stunning and the shadow detail in the bottom of the
frame came out really nice on Velvet Fine Art Paper--wonderfully low-key, but
still lots of subtle detail--and I've named the third from the top halo, Boris
:-)!

3) Also this year, I want to work on consciously making pictures and improving
my visualization of the frame as a print. on Velvet Fine Art Paper. I just
love this paper and want to explore all its characteristics. I purposely want
to focus on just 1 or 2 different papers to really understand them.

4) And I will be doing only monochrome, split toning, black and white. I so
love black and white photography and have decided to take the year to immerse
myself in all its glory and hopefully I'll have improved my BW skills. I have
a good enough book on BW and a good selection of photo books on the masters to
learn from. So we'll see how it goes :-).

Cheers, Christine
