Exactly. Compared to my other track cars I had driven at the time: cortina, 240 
z, honda wagon, corolla etc. It just took me a while to figure out why it 
wasn't accelerating particularly well between turns 11 and 1. It is still a lot 
better than spinning I to a wall or suchlike. 
I had an amusing ride one day when a student ( chp officer as a matter of fact 
) in a mustang applied too much power coming out of turn 2 and spun into the 
dirt.
Before I could explai  to him the advantages of getti g the dirt off of his 
sticky tires before resuming his enthusiastic driving, he spun the car inturn 4.
