When you find something good, you just wanna share (OK, at least I
do). If you are a big blues fan, then you probably already about this
band - and if you don't then you probably should.

Here is an example: You may remember this oldie, but goodie, from
1969:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AzEY6ZqkuE (Harry Nilsson)
Now, check out the Tedeschi Trucks Band version:

You don't see big 11 piece bands like this much anymore, but I just
love it. She has a voice like Bonnie Raitt with a generous Janis
Joplin afterburner. Derek Trucks, the lead guitarist, is a stone cold
shredder. Check out this playlist:

Their version of the blues has more than a little jazz and R&B mixed
in there. After watching it, I went out and got their 2011 Best Blues
Album Grammy winning CD: Revelator
They also have a live performance version called "Everybody's Talking"
which I will probably get very soon.
Hope someone likes their stuff as much as I did.

A number of the Tedeschi Trucks Band recorded with Herbie Hancock on
his Space Captain:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkzLatem0VY
