The best vantage point changes with the wind, literally. Sydney has two parallel and one cross runways and this morning traffic direction shifted twice in a couple of hours. Night shooting is worth a investigating though. One of the most difficult to access vantage points and probably the best for night trails is well over 1km from parking and involves trekking along a very busy road where there is no pedestrian path, but hey, photography wasn't meant to be easy.
