I think the hues & tonality of the one you PAWed give the image an eerie tone, 
and they emphasize the modernity of the structure on the left. In the B&W 
version the building on the left is a building, ho hum, which happens to work 
into the composition. This may be a bit muddled, but I think your version tells 
the story better than B&W would. Someone who is reading a different story may 
well disagree.
