You will give me a shout if you decide to sell your Ricoh stuff,
Godders, won't you?

The primary reason I jumped to a full frame body was that I had
acquired a nice set of lenses in M-bayonet mount designed for the
24x36 mm format. They perform brilliantly on the Ricoh GXR-M camera as
it is, but I wanted the additional depth of field control and
rangefinder focusing capabilities of the M9 body. So I fully
understand the business of hanging onto a lens waiting for the right
body to come along for it.
The reason I still have the GXR—aside from the fact that it itself is
just a brilliant camera in every way—is that it is an excellent TTL
viewing/focusing camera for macro and tabletop work, better IMO than
any SLR or DSLR. Now that Leica has introduced the new M with all the
goodness of the M9 and the addition of Live View and EVF options,
buying one of those might well consolidate all my needs in this domain
into one camera.
Of course, I still like to work with different cameras anyway. But
mostly in film where the differences are much more striking and
compelling.
