Thanks, Bob & Christine... As the tide recedes, the roads are becoming passable... my mother finally had enough, so she is packing up & heading out, with or without my dad, apparently. :) He is reluctant to leave, but we are hoping he will be lured to my sister's house with promises of beer & the Bruins game on tv.
It will be very cold tonight, but tomorrow & Monday should see some warming, melting, and rain(!). Right now, we are enjoying the quiet... shoveling a little bit, snowblowing as needed, and not going anywhere or doing much of anything. We've got plenty of hot cocoa, wine & snacks to keep us going for a while. :) -c On Sat, Feb 9, 2013 at 10:58 AM, Bob Sullivan <[email protected]> wrote: > Christine, > Keep your parents and family safe. > I remember some big snows in Chicago. > If it stays cold, there is nowhere for the snow to go. > And in a dense urban environment like Boston (city) it will cause havoc. > It's bad when you have to TRUCK the snow away. > Stay warm and try to enjoy it. > Regards, Bob S. > > On Sat, Feb 9, 2013 at 9:30 AM, Christine Nielsen <[email protected]> wrote: >> Thanks for sharing that link... preparing to take my camera (and >> shovel) out soon... >> >> We still have power, and lots of snow.
