Great set, Frank!
I admire your willingness to brave the conditions, too. Makes me feel
like a bit of a slacker.

Yesterday was Icycle 2013, Toronto's annual ice race. Many of the participants
are messengers or ex-messengers but anyone who pays the $15 entry fee can race.
The money (along with proceeds from beer sales at the afterparty) went to a
cyclist who was seriously injured as an innocent bystander (byrider?) when a
car involved in a high speed police chase crashed and pinned her against a lamp
post. About $1,000 was raised.
Anyway, the race is a fun thing as you can see by some of the outfits. The top photo is Alberto
"the Ice Emperor" de Cicco, four-time champ. Leaning into the corner with the bushy beard
is Jim "the Ice Bear" Kuz, another past winner.
The close up of the lovely young lady wearing the helmet is Linda who ended up
winning the women's race this year.
As you can see there was heavy snow during the early heats which made things
look rather seasonal:

Hope you enjoy. Comments welcome.
