I went to Fry's at lunch to pick up a Nexus 7. While I was there I noticed they had a couple of interesting looking Idea USA tablets. A 9.7" one that seems to have an IPS display and 16G memory for $230 and a 10.1" one with a lesser display and only 8G of memory for $160
these were particularly interesting because they had two USB ports, one labeled host, video out and an SD card slot. At a quick glance it looks like the 9.7" with the better display and more internal memory would be the way to go for an inexpensive gadget for displaying photos.
