Not too heavy, it's just under 40% of the original image area. The bird is a little smaller than a sparrow and was maybe 4-5 metres away. It'd be interesting if the camera recorded the focus distance in the metadata but all I have is "Subject Distance Range: Distant view". Before I went to get the camera it had come down to about 2 metres from me... in good light, too :( But if I'd had the camera at that time, the AF noise might have scared it off.
