Subject wise, both images are well done.
The second image has a 'faked' look to it along the top edge (like you ran
out of space at the top and cloned some in) from the L corner towards the R.

I like both of the images on your new blog very much. The contrast on
the farm scene seems to be dialed up a bit, but I still like it as an
effect. Shades of infrared film, somehow.
I think both images would show to good advantage in very large sizes
at the future Don Guthrie Retrospective at the Museum of Iowa Art.
