I've seen colors like that at sunrise & sunset times so it wouldn't suprise
me if that was in fact that way at the time of capture.
The tilted horizon and the centered-ness of the kayaker are more troubling
to me.

Very well done composition. Very nice elements, but color tone of the water
is well out of realistic range on my monitor.
Tends toward purple.
