Thanks for looking and commenting, Ken. I tried to focus on the eye of the top fish, but they were moving around quite rapidly, so I was happy that I got as close to the focus as I did. The "thingies" to which you refer are pieces of coral in the tank. I thought about cloning them out, but I decided that add a little context to the image. Perhaps however that works for me only because I know what they are. If I remove them, the image would become more of an abstract; perhaps it would be better that way.
I like the composition and the patterns in this image. I had mixed feelings about the shot, however, and didn't post it here until after it was approved in the PPG. I knew this would be a much tougher audience.
