After looking at the two earlier versions, I finally settled here.
The story of the photo isn't all of the locks.  It's that one lock at
the bottom center.  The title referring to a pattern is probably a bit
misleading.

I cut off the other locks because they kept drawing my attention away
from the different lock.  There is a story about that different lock
(that would be boring to most people) that goes with the picture.  The
final photo and the story were sent to a few local friends.

The 16:9 aspect ratio makes a better fit for my screen wallpaper.

At the end of the day, when you get a lot of input from a lot of
people, it is valuable, but you still need to go with your own
judgement.
