Here is what remains of Carrie Furnace. Units 6 and 7 are all that they left standing. This portion of the mill was built in 1906 and gives a good example of of what early steel mills looked like. They are trying to preserve it, but honestly its decay is accelerating, so there won't be much to save in another 10-20 years. I have some more stuff to process from this shoot, but this was 90% complete anyways so I thought I'd share.
