I don't dislike theists at all. I disagree with them on an issue that is of far more importance to them than it is to me.
What I do take issue with is people trying (quite wrongly) to tell me what I ~do~ believe: "Atheism is a religion just like any other." No, actually it's not. "You really do believe in god, you are simply in denial." Sorry, I do not, as much as you may want me to. "You are an atheist because you're angry with god." No, I can't be angry at something I do no believe in. "Lack of belief is the same as belief, it is a type of faith." As Bob W. quite capably explained lack of belief is the opposite of belief. And so on. But as for theists themselves, I don't dislike them at all...
