In California we get fields of mustard (flowers) growing everywhere in the spring.
Haven't done much photography lately (very rusty), but about 2 weeks ago I went into a field and took some quick shots. The part I liked was it was a large empty lot on the corner of a fairly busy street -- shopping center across the way and office buildings on all sides. Nature in the middle of suburban/urban.
