Recently, I did a fashion/glamour shoot with my favorite model, and used Fuji HG1600
for the first time. I rated it at ISO1250 to be on the safe side. The available
light shots are nice and moody, and the grain is interesting on some of the shots, but
on others I wish I'd used a finer grained film.

I had the film scanned to PhotoCD, and I'm wondering whether anyone knows of a way to
reduce the appearance of grain digitally? Sharpen only adds to the grainy look.
Smoothing helps, but is there a better way? I'm using PhotoMAX Pro, and sometimes
Photoshop 5.0.
