I still really like my K-5 and if I were advising someone which SLR to buy, I’d say the Pentaxes are hard to beat for price-performance, as long as you don’t really need the FF, which I suspect not that many really do.
Except for, I wouldn’t advise people to buy an SLR these days, mirrorless cameras are where the innovation and excitement are, and I’ve had nothing but pure pleasure from my Fuji X-E1.
