Enjoyed the photo and the discussion.
The stuff in the background is interesting.
And your Dad could have smiled!

We had a '49 (??) Halicrafters TV that lasted forever.
Our TV repairman made house calls in his station wagon.
With luck, he fixed it on the spot.
Otherwise, he took it back to the shop and we waited. :-(

I think the TV lasted into the '60's to be replaced by another B&W.
They so loved our Zenith color TV that we bought them one in the '70's,
from the same TV sales & repair guy we had known forever.
