Hi guys and gals,

I wish to add some notes from my point of view.
I'm sure the others aren't going to tell anybody, but I was late
(as usual, but they didn't know yet...), although I could find
an excuse in the fact that yesterday morning the winter came
back in Italy bringing chill, rain and even snow particularly
between Naples and Rome...
:^)
It was really nice to meet the other members in such a cosy
environment.
We PDMLers (and a couple of other friends of mine) have been
nicely together till we reached the used equipment pavilion,
where we decided to part from each other to be able to have a
closer and calmer look at the stuff for sale.
I was on a really tight budget, so I tried to avoid to be
involved in any purchase.
Nontheless, when Michele and Flavio got away, the other friends
I was with elected me their technical consultant (not to mention
trading adviser...) for the rest of the day, so I had to inspect
various Minolta zoom lenses, and innumerable Canon Eos 5s...
This coming and going up from a seller to another (for - gasp -
almost seven hours) brought me to face many Pentax items I was
searching for a long time.
I resisted till I found a nice M 28/2 (at 180 Euro it was not
exactly a bargain - it is like new, though, with case, so I have
no regrets - and, I thought, I can eventually sell the Sigma
28/1.8 I had in disdain lately for its lack of flare
resistance).
I had a check left in my checkbook and I was sure it wasn't
going anywhere.

But...

Just around the metaphorical corner a 45/4 for 67 was waiting
for me...
I was almost ready to buy one new, because during these days I
was shooting for a furniture factory, often in little rooms, and
I was feeling every day the need for a lens wider than my 55...
Now my last check has flown away - with a frightful number
written on it - but today I had the chance to use the lens for a
paid assignment already, so I'm rather happy.
:-)

Ciao,

Gianfranco
