Mark Sutton is one of Britain's leading F1 photographers. A familiar sight at circuits around the world, little escapes his eye both on the track or in the paddock. In his new regular column he throws some light on life as an F1 snapper.
http://www.itv-f1.com/sutton/sutton_story/9797 "I would like to end on a technical note. A lot of the pictures on the ITV website is in digital format and now with the latest Cannon 1D digital cameras we are providing a much sharper, much better quality of images as well as providing some slide scans after the race as well which are scanned at 25mega bites and are used to provide double page spreads in magazines and newspapers around the world." Interesting he says that the digital pics are better quality, they says that they use slide scans for double page spreads? I think when he says better quality he is probably comparing D1 to the D30 rather than to film? The final statement reads that, given time, film is better. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
