I'd love to spend more time in Denver but we'll only be passing through. That
said, the trip from Frisco to Cheyenne isn't especially long so there may be
time for a couple of hours in Denver. Maybe there would be time for a coffee,
if not something stronger.

i'd be glad to meet you and facilitate anything Denver could offer, and i am conveniently located for those traveling by car, but if Denver is pretty much just an intersection to traverse, consider bypassing it for some fantastic scenery - south of Cheyenne turn west at Loveland and head to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, take Trail Ridge Road over the divide

then follow the Colorado River from its very origin down through Grand Lake through Hot Sulfur Springs to Kremmling, then drop down to Frisco without the boredom of driving the Interstate highway; this is a spectacular and tremendously varied drive and much more interesting than a brief stop in Denver

be aware that Trail Ridge Road is forcibly plowed open approximately 24 May, so check before assuming you can get through

Thanks - I'll pass that suggested route on to our trip organiser (my son). We'll be doing the Frisco-Cheyenne leg on 11 May so it seems that Trail Ridge Road may not be feasible. We'll check.

If we go through Denver and have time to stop, I'll drop you an email a few days ahead.
