I was listening to the scanner about midnight here in the UK, just as they had the boat surrounded and the chopper 'had eyes' on his movement - and then the Ustream for the scanner must have reached overload as it dropped and I couldn't get back onto it! Obviously pleased that the situation is over - but by no means resolved. There now comes the obvious questions - but I suspect that America will now see another slight change in direction regarding security - one that may not be at all evident on the surface. The Enemy Within is obviously alive and well, and the state will pursue this enemy with silent vigour. I would expect that the security services will be doing a lot more in terms of preventative action. Expect to see more doors being knocked down as a never-ending search continues.
