It is essentially a S-M-C Takumar 50mm f1.4 with the convenience of
the K-mount, which normally makes it worth $30-40 more. However, with
your cosmetic problems, I'd probably expect to get a little less than
a nice S-M-C Takumar 50mm f1.4.
