nice to see what's happening elsewhere; here many bulbs were trying to go a bit early, but then we had an unusual frost on 9 April, 7 degrees F with no snow to protect the plants; so many bulbs and fruit trees have had it for the year; some of those who garden more tender plants are in despair, but my natives, cacti, grasses and alpines are doing well
