Thanks, Aahz. That's flare from a large window right over the relief. I tried cropping it out but thought that looked crummy. I may have to play with it more.

What I see, though is that the relief over the staircase looks a bit blurred, can't tell whether it's out of focus or an artifact of the light (particularly with the bloom over the relief).
