For the second (melting) video I set the aperture to f3.5 (to avoid the screen I was shooting through being in focus) and left the ISO/shutter speed to do what it will (I guess that's Av mode!). I found that for a 30-second interval, I was able to get about 6 hours of shots before the battery started looking sad. Thankfully, the tripod mount was small enough that I was able to shut the camera off, drop the battery out the bottom and replace it, and remove the memory card and swap with a fresh one without having to move the camera. I think if I'd left off the 5-second review after each image, the battery COULD have lasted a LITTLE longer... .but I'm not sure by how much. 600 shots x 5 seconds = 3000 seconds of preview... divided by 60 means having the screen on for 50 minutes. That could have had an influence. -Charles -- Charles Robinson - [email protected] Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org http://www.facebook.com/charles.robinson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
