You really only need a model release if the photo is going to be used to
sell a product.
Under most *normal* circumstances you won't need a model release even if
you decide to sell prints of the photos.
"Normal circumstances"
Certain celebrities have their "image" protected as registered
trademarks (or something) & you can get hassled if you take photos of
them & sell the prints.
If they're drunk & disorderly you can sell the image to National
Enquirer or the like, but you can't sell prints for $10 a pop.
However ... You shouldn't be an asshole about it.
