I may be wrong, but I think Larry's set up works better the farther
away the object is. I'm not sure how well it would work in a macro
setup. (Mainly because small changes in your focus distance with a
macro lens changes the point at which the red dot must be pointed by A
LOT (as opposed to being for forgiving, or minor changes needed for
distant objects). I also have a hard time believing that autofocus
(shooting blindly - as in not looking through the viewfinder - is
going to perform to your satisfaction on moving bees.
