Well, it's still just an item in an auction. You win some and you lose some, and some sellers change their minds. We shouldn't get carried away by greed and envy. Circumstances can occur that can cause both little guys and major corporations to have to eat their words. This would seem to be a good time to get over it and get on with our lives.
Speculating on the circumstances that caused the guy to retract the item will get nobody anywhere. If Paul really thinks he's been cheated, let him take it up with the people that have a better chance of doing something about it instead of crying to the list. unless, of course, he feels he needs enablement to do something about it. I'm sure that by now we would all like to see what ebay says about all this, anyway. Or, maybe we're all sick of much ado about nothing. For me, this subject is closed.
