Have fed niger to these things or several years. Last year and again this year, the number of "Gold" finches has been very low. However, during that time the "House" finch numbers have greatly increased. Weather and migration patterns I suppose. (?) If I don't get a chance at the yellow ones in a shadow, exposure is difficult. You did good, Paul.
