Bruce, you’re exactly right. I was scrambling over these rocks in a brisk breeze on a walk with my 6-year-old. It’s not even clear that a macro-lens approach is the best. Mind you, it might be years before I get that combination of high enough sun to be over the treeline and low enough tide to expose the mussels... -T
