That gull was well paid for his services. Cost me several lake bass.

Seriously, I was trying my best to time the shots so that the bird(s) were as 
well placed as possible. This one was the best of the day to be sure, not just 
in terms of placement but size and "pose" as well.

Actually the problem was most often, ~too~ many birds. I probably cloned out a 
half-dozen smaller  ones that were detracting from the impact of the one 
currently in the frame.

Thanks to everyone who looked and commented. It was a beautiful morning. Kind 
of felt that any idiot could have pointed a camera and come away with a 
gorgeous shot.  :-)
